9secours has to permit the user to diagnose and if possible to correct a problem found on the easygate. 9secours hasd to realize test series to verify the system status.

[edit] Startup

9secours system is launched automatically after many startup failures (see the grub-reset-counter script) or can be started on user decision by pressing left shift key and right shift key during the bootloader (grub) loading.

• SSH server launching (port : 13031).
• Access to a diagnoze and restore interface through the 9rescue program (console mode or graphical mode).

Tests will conduct you to one of these actions:

• Do nothing.
• Update.
• Reinstall.
• Ask to call the hotline.
• Launch a SSH server (launched automatically at 9secours startup).

• GTK2 library for the graphical user interface.
• Openssl or busybox library (md5 support).
• Squashfs tools (unsquashfs) and squafs support for 9secours kernel.
